To fix missiles one could also introduce "lucky hits" where the missile explodes "in front of the ship" and still does some damage even though it normally wouldn't that would allow them to also do some damage against faster ships like turrets, but...

This doesn't work as a blob of 10 people each applying a 20% web at 40k is going to slow down any ship to a crawl. Add a rapier into the mix and you can't move at all.

Ok, a real world example: Yesterday I (in a Vaga, because I wanted to enjoy it a bit while it can still zoom at 5k, I don't fit polycarbs, way too expensive) went out with another Vaga, an Ishtar and a Cerberus (all nanoed of course) to go roaming...
